BMW and forum newbie here!

Just purchased a used 2006 E85 Jet Black and I'm still in the honeymoon phase. Great car! The weather is finally breaking and I am enjoying the ride! The only mod for right now is to change the tires/tyres to non RF. I love the responsivness of the N52. Anyway,hello! :D
 
I'll be posting pics soon I was just waiting for my fake M badge and rear wing to be installed... Seriously though shes pretty much stock and absolutly beautiful. I even got the leatherette option... Heated seats/mirrors, power top and steptronic are the only options she has. The RF tires are going this AM and I'll follow this board to see what else.

I went from a 2007 Solstice that I really liked to a 2006 Zed 4 and thats all I'll say. I feel a little guilty because I have several relatives that work for GM but the car shines in a completly intuative way. My beater is a 98 Ford Ranger 4 cyl stick so my trans/shifting would seem to be backwards but I really like the 6 speed auto with the paddles and my daughter and wife can drive also.

BTW, This seems to be a really freindly forum compared to some other BMW forums, I like that!

Welcome to the forum. I replaced my tires yesterday with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP's and an extremely better ride compared to the original Bridgestones.
 
I don't think you'll ever get over the honeymoon phase. I'm still in my phase and I've had my car for 2 years now. :thumbsup:
