Stockport posh ,I don't think so it has one of the highest crime rates in the uk and highest insurance premiums to boot must be a drug dealers car there lots of those around the Manchester/ Stockport area lol

It was said with tongue in cheek...

Many peoples perceptions of Cheshire are of posh burbs full of Cayennes, fezza's and Lambo's..

That said,i dont need to remind you looking at your location..

I used to live in Chester, loved it. Lots of exotica not just cars ;)

But then again 15 miles up the road you've got murdishaw... Aka Murdershaw lol

When I lived in sandbach for two years & worked in handforth dean I used to love seeing all the high end motors on my way to work, they certainly appreciate big money motors around that neck of the woods, they also always had some nice cars for sale in the monks Heath garage saw a lovely F40 in there once :)

Cheshire born and Cheshire bred... Once went onto the car park at the back of Knutsford and there was 6 911s randomly parked on the car park.

The only place I've seen like it in the UK is Aberdeen

Its a nice locations tho, what 1hr40 to london, 20 mins from liverpool and manc... Birmingham isnt far. Good commuter area.

I used to use the train from Liverpool, but if you use the peak time (between 6:00am and 9:30am) trains to London then you're looking at a return ticket of £270 for a standard/cattle class ticket.

With the waiting, overcrowding on the return train, and taxis/buses/tubes at either end, it was regularly taking 3 hours door-to-door - so not really something you'd want or be able to afford to do every day.

I drive to my current client in west London (Tue-Thur in a hotel) and it's only taking 30 minutes more (public transport option would take over 4 hours). I'm more flexible with start/end times as I don't have to worry about public transport connections, and it costs me/the client about £100/week in petrol.

You need to pay a visit to Knightsbridge and Belgravia then!

Or Moscow, where you'll see Veyrons/F458s/Maybachs/etc. parked half-on/half-off the bigger-than-average kerb.

Unfortunately the monks Heath garage is no longer ,closed overnight but most of the cars turned up at VIP car sales in knustford ,also from the window where I work I get to gaze at the Mclaren show room with a very nice white roadster in pride of place

Great car the CSL, I miss mine already

It's a lot different to the boggo M3, the handling is superb. Turn in is unbelievable, I've never driven a car with such a front-end, incredible speed can be carried into and through the corner.
Then there's the sound, best sounding car I've owned easily, add to this high quality M division carbon fibre panels throughout the car.
However its let down by the smg box which is crap when you're not on a track and due to the age of the CSL, is an expensive car to run and maintain. Mine cost £830 at an indie BMW garage just to pass the Mot. 600 miles later the smg selector failed which is a £1207 part(not including vat btw). Dread to think what these repairs would cost a main dealer.
