Hello z4 guys and girls, i haven't been on here for a while, i have been very busy with a new house purchase and been fitting a new kitchen with my dad (az4mw,
so the z4 has not been moved out the garage in 7 months but the car has been on a trickle charge the whole time due in winter storage.

So the z4 was finally moved out today for the first time and saw daylight, and good news the car started first time and no problems to report, i let her heat up to temp and left to turn over for a good 20mins on the drive to follow a little drive round the block, with the top down and the sun was out, once i got back i gave the car a nice little clean as there was a fine layer of dust covering the car from not being used over the winter.

As the car was dusty I didn't fancy washing it without first using a snowfoam to help remove as much of the dust as possible, and followed with a two bucket wash method, then i dryed the car down, and because the car was waxed before it went away i just used zaino z8 to wipe over the car just to bring the car back to how it was before, i didnt take any pics of the car before or due in the wash stage just the afters as my camera was dead but had a bit of charge when i was finished, anyway the pics of the days clean:

Your Zed looks superb , what prods do you use ,I have started using jet wash to remove debris then magi foam, then AG Shampoo , do you use a drying cloth then An AG SRP type polish then Zaino Z8 to finish.I`m looking to get an autobrite fluffy drying towel and some pink sheen trim dressing cos it leaves a mat finish , what u think

I have no idea what motivates people to keep their P&J that clean, but thanks for putting in the effort, for us lazy mortals to admire.

Now you need to by a nice old chipped one, to drive around in.

My normal routine is to rinse the car first, then I normally snow foam the car first then it gets a nother rinse, then I wash the car with a lams wall wash mitt, with the two bucket method, then once rinsed back off the car is patted dryed using a drying towel, then the car is polished, followed by a wax (depending on what I fancy normally autofinness desire, topped off with illusion, I find is the best for my car) all my products are autofinness apart from the zaino z8, but I only used that yesterday as the car was waxed before it was put away and not been used so my normal routine was a bit different yesterday, and I wanted to see how the zaino worked on top of the autofinness products, hope this helps :)

Yes all the parts on the car are the original parts, not one new part under it, apart from the scuttle pannel bolts as they broke when I removed them to gain access to the wiper motor, it's all just been cleaned a lot of time has been taken doing it, but parts have been off the car to clean and I used autofinness citrus power to clean and degrease, followed but autofinness revive or dressele depending what I was protecting, and the arch lining was done using the same methord, and the breaks were rubed down and repainted using brake caliper paint.
