Satnav fitting...

Can anyone tell me if a satnav system can be fitted into a z4m coupe by BMW or similar, if it was never fitted with one in the first place? If so... Expensive?

As for pricing, you find the parts on ebay from time to time. Its going to run you 4/5 times the cost probably of buying a (IMHO superior) portable nav device.

Is the general consensus the BM satnav is gash? Does the display have any other function like radio/cd/phone info display?

It has other uses other than four navigation. The phone is easier to use and combine the screen with an intravee and the world is your oyster.
 
Its a nice to have feature even if just for the phone directory & computer . As nav's go they aren't exactly cutting edge but then some are 10years old :wink:
Plus they do seem to sell easier with the nav in built ?
