Satin Exhaust Trim

Hey Folks, my Coupe has what look to be Satin exhaust trims, not the chrome ones I had on the roadster. Any tips on how to clean them up?

I use this...

Works pretty well.

The satin finish is a bugger to keep clean, had to take the dremel to mine though about trying to get them chrome plated.

Sorry to dissapoint, but in the real world it's hard to get the two mixed up as Halfords doesn't sell Anusol (although it is sometimes full of 'roids), and Boots doesn't sell Autosol (although there's enough cheap jewellery on show by their teenage counter-staff that maybe they should).

As Bender (of Futurama infamy) would say: "Bite my shiny metal ass!".

I just use Autosol - Brings it up fine. If you have a 'Range' shop near you, it's £4 in there.

I tried to Autosol but found it didnt really work that well, the problem I think is that it's a painted mat finish and the exhaust particles stick like s**t to qo stick, unlike the chrome ones which are of course are more like non stick.

I have thought about taking them off and seeing if I can get a supplier at work to chrome plae them.

LOL!!!

Another vote for AUTOsol though, works fine on my chrome ones and have used it on satin finish metal around the house.
