Sat Nav Upgrade

Hello,

I'm a newbie to this forum and just bought a stunning Z4 Coupe with only 26k on it.

The car has a Sat Nav computer and I was wondering how I can upgrade the software as it looks a little dated.

The car has a cd for the Sar Nav but not sure if I need to buy a new one. Is it possible to update the entire firmware to give it an up to date look?

There's an update that gives birds eye view, an you can get an updated map disc depending on how old yours is but the interface stays the same,
Some people have swapped the screen out for a android tablet within the same case

Look up Intravee if you have iPhone as its the best for extra controls, as for updating sat nav make sure the firmware is running v32 which allows birds eye view, there are plenty of websites out there you can get a latest disc from.
