Sat Nav Updates

Picking up a Z4MC on Friday which has sat nav. I've never had a car with sat nav before, is it possible to update it and put the latest maps on it? Is it expensive?
Also, do the radio stations, cd info etc display on the sat nav screen?

An authorised map disc is about £200 for a DVD, or about £85 for a single country CD.

Everything else displays as you'd expect, and if you have an up to date enough firmware version, it will do split screen and "birdseye/3D mode" on the maps

It's an older radio though with only one receiver so unless you are using the CD or aux port (if you have one) the TMC service won't work unless tuned to classic FM

Yes. All E85 and E86 Nav computers are MkIV
