Sat nav update

Does anyone know how to up date my nav, currently 07-1 high in z4m 56 plate.
Do I go to BMW for this? How much for latest mapping? What is latest mapping?
And finally will I be able to get speed cameras on the nav system?
Do BMW do firmware upgrades?
As you can see lots of questions as I have not got a clue about techno things & don't
Want to get ripped off!
 
If you don't update within 100 minutes of the expiration date I think it formats everything.....
