Sat Nav Unit

Hi Folks,

Time has come to clear out some items from my shed. I`m selling a Sat Nav unit in black. The step motor works perfect, the screen sometimes get lines and flickers. I have had a specialist check it with BMW software; he said it has a loose wire which can esily be fixed. The little plastic part that clips in at the front towards the windscreen (when fitted) is missing, you can just use your own or buy from the dealer for a couple of pounds.

This would make a perfect spare and is easy fix. Considering they are selling for around £300-up make me an offer.

£120 including postage.

Hi, I`m purely stating in the auction - make me an offer? They are rare to get hold of, and not cheap. I havn`t seen any sell of £80 thats a good price!

I`m sure somebody would like this as a spare.

Can you give me a price in USD, including postage to Glendale, Arizona, USA? Also, do you have any photos of the unit. Is it everything I would need to retrofit to a 2005 3.0i that does not have one now? Excuse me if I seem ignorant, but I am new to Z4's and have never even seen an OEM navigation unit. Do you know if I need the OEM radio to use it? I have an aftermarket Alpine unit. :tumbleweed:

Hi, I have sent you PM. This includes parts you need.

Not the answer to the question though. He asked if it included ALL parts to retrofit the satnav, and no - you need:

- Nav computer
- Cable from Computer to Screen / Radio etc
- GPS aerial
- Nav DVD
- new radio (CID) to control the nav, existing one will not work.

Looks like PM's just sit in my "Outbox" and don't go anywhere! Just to be safe, I also sent you an email. Please let me know if you do not get at least one of these.

Thanks.

I trust you have found the navigation retrofit posts on this forum?
