Sat Nav Screen (Inc Surround)

I may sell my Sat Nav screen as it's now redundant with my Double Din setup going in. What sort of value should I be putting on it?

It's in great condition, screen works great, and motor runs perfect too.

I haven't yet looked into stripping out the Sat Nav as a whole (eg, the DVD Reader + wiring) but may give it a go if the money's right for the whole kit.

If not really worth much I'll just keep it to put the car back to standard whenever the time comes to sell it.

What are you going to fill the hole with?

Stripping out the wiring loom isn't hard, it's only one piece. The antenna isn't worth removing as they are only a tenner on eBay.

Unless you are going to swap the dash for a non nave one though I'd leave the screen in place.

I was going to.... until I realised and issue with the venting and the double din (I'm still determined to keep the vents to some extent). It's too deep, and won't fit with the new venting I printed. I'm currently in the process of making a simple dash storage type tray - it's shallow enough that it doesn't catch the vent but just enough for nick nacks, etc. The plan is to get one of those cheap black non slip mat things as the "base" to the unit.



I'm going to take a look later today at the DVD drive etc. Gonna make a very quick video to show it all works, then sell the OEM Head Unit, the 6 CD Changer, the DVD Drive & the Sat Nav screen

If selling everything why not swap dash tops with whoever buys, unless you want a small oddments tray on the dash top

I actually WANT a small oddments tray on top so will be keeping the dash.
