Hi, am looking for some help re solutions for my folding sat Nav screen. It has developed an intermittent fault by which I won't fully open when I start the car. Usually after a few attempts, I opens up and fixes itself, however is a little annoying. I have read on various forums, that the motor cannot be fixed and requires a whole new screen unit. Having done a brief search, the best price I could find was £300.
So to save a bit of money, does anyone know how to completely disable the sat Nav screen motor so it stays fixed in the UP position?
Any ideas would be most welcome, and many thanks in advance!
