Sat nav screen brightness

The display on my sat nav screen is fairly dark I have turned the brightness up in the settings but it has made no difference does anyone know of a fix for this?

i think it has something to do with a light sensor somewhere as mine works a bit weird. have to set brighter on a dull day but on a bright day top down its proper bright. doesnt retain my last setting either.

Its going into my local independent on wednesday so will ask him if he knows any info

Mine is the same. It defaults to 50% brightness so I turn it up to 100% and the day after, it’s back to 50% bright but it retains the other settings changes I made such as colour tone?

that's odd as mine says on 100%
