Sat Nav Screen Brightness

I've noticed since getting the car that the screen brightness is quite low on its natural setting, so have put it to full brightness - only trouble is it loses this setting every time I turn the car off - it's the only setting it loses though.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Mine does this too, I thinks it only happens though if the auto lights are on, but I might be wrong.

It bothers me a little, but I just adjust it now out of habbit. Having said that, I'd much prefer it remembered the last setting for brightness.

I think it's a bug on certain sat nav's by which it doesn't retain the screen brightness setting
