SAT NAV - perspective mode

I've found the 'hidden' service menu (enter settings, then press and hold MENU for 10 seconds) and turned on 'Perspective'... what's the difference? I can't tell.

I expected the 'flyover' view like a Tom Tom, but it seems exactly the same as before (birds-eye view).

Also, my 2004 was always looking north (car rotates), my 2009 seems to be looking in your direction (map rotates). Any way to change it back?

Any other Nav tricks welcome.

From memory what you have done is enable the 3d mode, you then need to switch it on under the normal setup menu.

On the map display, press the RH button to bring up the menu, I think the option is map position and you will see perspective added to the list
