sat nav/OBC continually reboots

My sat nav/OBC system has phases where it reboots itself multiple times in a row. I have tried different DVDs to no avail. Any ideas how to start diagnosing?

I've Removed mine and the constant rebooting has stopped so I'm assuming it's the disc. The disc isn't OEM

Mines done this a few times recently, non-OEM disc. Annoyingly it also knocks out the Bluetooth connection to my phone until I restart the car :x
