Sat Nav/Map has a black band

Anyone encountered a black band across the top of the map/sat nav. If you Zoom out it goes away but as you zoom in it gets thicker. Have a look at the photos. Is this a temporary glitch and will right itself?

Your map is shown in perspective mode so it will show the earth curve which is the black band. If you don't like this, configure the map to show in always north up or always travel direction up (I make these name up, but if you go to the setting manual and I believe you can match my made up name to the config name)

That looks like Rylands Gardens to me, make sure you keep it locked

Well done that man. I changed the map settings to direction of travel and away it went. Not sure how it changed in the first place but hey ho minor irritating glitch sorted.....
