Sat nav makes me chuckle

Anyone with an E89 and sat nav, get yourself down to Stonehenge. I went there yesterday. If you set the nav to a scale of less than 75 yds, you get a tiny little stonehenge on the map! :rofl:

(I notice that the football stadiums are also there, in addition to all the big cities too) - however, stonehenge cracked me up! :lol:

- anyone else been to other places wheer it does this sort of thing?
 
Yes, only on the latest maps tho I think... the 3D stuff was very limited before that. I noted that when I updated my maps to 2012 all of Manchester and Salford Quays rose from the earth in glorious 3D. The only things I had 3D on 2009 maps were Old Trafford and the Beetham Tower. Albeit the trade off is a slower to update screen...
 
If you're in London, everything how's up. St. Pauls, Buck Pal, BT Tower, Regents Park.....
 
Have to keep an eye on that :D Also have to try BMW routes, https://www.bmw-routes.com/de/en/index.jsp Seems like a nice tool to plan a route and upload it to your nav :)

Used it for a few tours of Wales.. Works well.

BMW routes also has pre made routes you can try..
