Sat nav issues (again)

Hi everyone, my sat nav is freezing and re booting again. It seems to do it after around 20 mins in the car. I bought a new copied disk from an eBay seller who assured me they are great quality and no one has had any issues with any sold. I have even put my original 2004 disk back in but still freezes and re boots. I had these issues around 8 months ago then never did it again until recently. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Hi yeah, it's the V32 firmware I believe. It came on a separate disk to the map disk and I put that in first to update it then put the maps disk in
 
Do you have original old map you could try an the short term , if fault persist it could be the drive unit ,
 
Hi yes I have already put the original 2004 disk back in and it still freezes and reboots. Am I ok putting the 2004 disk back in even with the new firmware. Should I also have an old firmware disk that goes with the original 2004 disk?
 
I don't think the firmware update means you have to use a newer map, but I'm prepared to be shot down on that , although I had mine updated when I got it a couple of years ago to give the birds eye view of the map an I didn't bother with a new map, it may be pointing towards the drive unit some of these are 13 years old now , an I think they do spool up every time the cars on,
