Sat nav is lost

For the sake of less than a tenner I would get an antenna and just plug it in. Don't worry about getting to the original, just disconnect it. If it works then you can sort it out further.

Depending on how small your hands are you might even be able to get to the connector through the boot.
 
Si - happy to help out at the midland meet unless you need it fixed earlier - I had this and replaced the antenna.
 
I can check your car via DIS or INPA at the midland meet.

Seeing as it all points to the antenna just bought one off e- bay will replace it at the weekend and see how we go ,thanks for all the info
