Sat Nav Holders

I love my first ever BMW which is a 2008 Z4 and I have also just discovered this Forum so I am putting it to the test. We are planning a tour in August to Italy via the champagne region in France, for a few glasses of lager on the way. To take enable Mrs Navigator (apprentice) to maiximise her film star pose en route instead of grappling with a wind swept map book, I am getting a sat nav.

Has anyone come across the perfect sat nav holder for the Z4 interior?

Thanks

:)

Thanks very much for the suggestions both of which I had not come across before. I like this forum!!

i have found that my sat nav sucks direct onto the piano dash - i have a tomtom start 25

If you've got a shiny dash then you could use any number of sucker mount options. I have my TT1005 in the same place I had my TT740.

Hi Fly
I have just bought one of these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dash-Genie-Holder-Apple-iPhone/dp/B003OWLNFM/ref=pd_cp_ce_3
It is small and neat. It sticks brilliantly to the brushed aluminium dash facia, and I am using it with an Iphone with the Navigon app. I am sure if you have one of the newer lighter weight Sat Navs it would also fit. As my Z had no phone prep etc, I have also just installed a Dice Mediabridge, which actually works very well, and bluetooths with the phone, so I get Navigation audio instructions through the car radio. Works really well.
Although I am relatively new to the forum - Welcome, and look forward to seeing you over the skies of Northamptonshire .
