Sat nav Stereo swap

Hope someone can clear this up for me.
I have the flip up nav screen type stereo in my car but was wondering if I can fit the standard non flip screen type stereo in as I want the flip up screen gone. I have the standard stereo already which came from an 85 I broke couple yrs ago. All help TIA

The second one I fitted to the M I did not need the microphone and I did not need to remove the radio as I used the Bluetooth module connected to the cd changer, so all work was in the boot only then.

My M also had the right carpet for the tuner so did not need to cut that either
