Sat Nav and intravee

Hi all

I'm very confused with the intravee and satnav setup. I'm slowly buying parts to do a retrofit satnav and now just need to find the profesional head unit to have all the parts I need for this. (anyone any ideas where I can get the head unit would be appreciated?)

However I thought while I am at it I would install an intravee. Im currently using a gateway 100 which has been great with my ipod although I dont think it will work with the retrofit satnav. So thought I'd do the intravee at the same time save messing around with things twice. My question is, what do you actully need to buy to connect the intravee to my ipod? I gather it's not like the gateway 100 that plugs into the back of the head unit job done!

Also I've discovered on some sites state that it no longer made, is this true? Where has everyone bought the products from to enable the integration.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Intravee plugs straight in the cables of the CD changer, so whilst you have the console out for the satnav wiring, take the cubby hole out to drill the holes and fit the intravee. Have a look at my installation pictures, you will see where it goes.

The head unit - only last week I pointed one out to Kevshore who bought it. Check international ebay, there were a few on there from The States.

Don't you also need that Alpine bit of kit with the Intravee? Can't remember the model number and feeling too lazy to search!
