Sat Nav 3d Perspective mode

I read on the forum that there is a hidden menu item for 3d perspective mode. I have found the hidden menu and set perspective mode, but nothing seemed to change.

Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong??

If you have enabled it in the hidden menu you should find another option under the map view for perspective.

Did it on mine with the firmware which came with my car (v29 i think) and worked fine.

i upgraded my firmware from version 4-1/12 to 4-1/00 yesterday, using firmware v32 yet i don't seem to have access to the hidden menu. i go into the set option and hold down the button for 10secs+ but nothing happens. can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? do i need to downgrade to v29 first to get to the advanced menu? i want perspective mode, and this is really frustrating me :headbang:

I dont think version v32 would prevent you getting into the hidden menu. Had no problems in mine - the hidden menu appeared within a 3 seconds.

Yep - should have worked anyway. You pressing "Menu"? It should appear regardless of the firmware.

Does anyone have a photo of 3d mode, i've done this, and to be honest, noticed no difference.

The Sat Nav map is pretty pants tbh, watching a white line with white fields either side, is painful lol.

Post a pic someone!

No photo I'm afraid - but unless you can see clouds at the top, then it's not perspective.
I've updated a couple with v32 (at a couple of meet/events' and they all worked fine.

I finally got around to getting this sorted. (turns out i was pressing the wrong button to access hidden menu) i was pressing and holding the round button that controls the nav instead of the "menu" button. but once i figured out how blonde i was being, setting up perspective mode was a breeze. i got a firmware version with custom splash screen and night mode from x5outpost, as well as a new maps DVD and its working perfect. Thanks for the tips Guys and girls!!
