saris bones solo

The saris web site is showing several bike racks as compatible with the z4 , which is odd as I thought they had removed compatabity a while ago (been looking for a cost effective solution for a while)

Anyone have experience of a saris bike rack on the back of the z4 ?

The only thing to be wary of is that nothing should be in contact with the boot/lid. Its a moving mechanism and is not secure and you risk bending the boot/roof mechanism. You should really get something that attaches like the BMW one does (which if you can find it is being done at a much lower (albeit still silly) price now).
