Saris Bones RS

I've seen lots of posts about the Saris Bones 1/2/3 working with a Z4 Coupe, but I'm not overly keen on resting it on the glass.

Does anyone know if the Saris Bones RS works on a Coupe? Looks like it might not need to rest on the glass.

I only really need to carry 1 bike, interested in the Bird Automotive option, but it's pricey at £500 ish. No idea how it fits yet either.

I've had both racks over the years and the RS is much heavier and less adjustable than the Bones. With the bones, the weight all goes through the feet which rest on the bumper, so none of the weight will be on your rear window. I've used the Bones on 2 Alfas, a Mini, and my Z4 Roadster and never had a single issue.

I think the RS will work but in my opinion you'll be much better off with the Bones

If you have a large budget you should look at Seasucker, they look a bit frightening but genuinely work!

Cheers for the reply. Having just picked the car up today, my budget isn't large sadly :)

Currently thinking the Bones as so many people seem to say it works well. I don't suppose you've tried the Saris Solo have you?

Seasucker looks good, but I'd be so afraid of getting a bit of grit or something under it and marking the paint.
