Santa Pod today

As most of you know my lad is wheelchair bound. After a post I put about being a proud parent Mat Machine monkey) contacted me and said he had spoke to his friend at the drifting school at Santa Pod and organise some drifting for my lad.

We arrived about 10 this morning and as usual the wind was blowing like a gale. My lad has never been before and found it to be a great experience. The sound of the dragsters and hot rods was awesome as they sped down the quarter mile.

We made our way to the drift school and they got my lad into a Sx200 driven by a lad named Colgate. He made sure James was comfy and they set off trying to scare the life out of him. He broke the car lol. The next car was an mx5 and they tried driving the tires off of that.

My lad had the biggest smile and that was all down to machine monkey (Mat) organisation and his friendship with Lex at the drifting school. I really want to thank Mat for organising this for my lad, he thoroughly enjoyed it and made what was a good day even more special.

Yes was a good day thanks buzyg . We would of stayed longer but James had a birthday party to go to. They have fireworks and all sorts until 10pm so good value for money day. Only thing would say if anyone goes make sure you wrap up as the wind howls across your the site

That’s the plan buddy need to get it running right. And a bit of practice in it and yeah should be good for drift taxis
