Santa Pod in the MR

Earlier this year I went to pod with a few mates to have a go at drag racing for the first time.

I only had 3 goes as I was worried about my tyres and breaking something, the noise when you drop the clutch on the sticky tarmac isn't the nicest trust me...

Car is completely standard on OEM contis with a passenger, here are some results:

.........RT.......ET.........MPH
Run1...0.83.....13.50.....104.3
Run2...0.83.....13.54.....103.6
Run3...0.82.....13.26.....104.7

And here's a couple of video's

Me vs my mate in his 400bhp S3 on semi slicks

Me vs a GTR (nearly had him :P )

This was purely for fun by the way, please no hard core drag racers saying I've done it all wrong :driving:

be careful... the noise you talk about is wheel hop..... wheel hop is the dark destroyer of all things drive train...

It wasn't that, the wheels were spinning with no hop at all, it was the shunt through the drive train that made me cringe hence only doing it three times
