@monkadill, I quite like the addition on the front splitter and sides, though does that remove the front air dams? And what's it like on ramps?

But I suspect itl catch curbs, if parked too close.

I have been contemplating fitting the kit, but I have had unfortunate collisions with curbs on other cars....

For this years road trip destination was Italian lakes.IMG_0174.jpeg

We soaked up the culture the mountains and lakes the sunsetsIMG_0086.jpeg

Of course the Stelvio being closeby we just had to include it, looking back East about half way up, we caught up with a motor home that was struggling. Co driver Karen enjoyed that driveIMG_0111.jpeg

We had developed an apetite for hairpins so softer a few more days we set course for home via the old St Gotthard, the Furka Pass and Grimsel Pass. Not an encouraging start with low cloud but as we got higher it clearedIMG_0152.jpegIMG_0160.jpegIMG_0166.jpeg

Not a lot at the top of the Furka Pass pretty desolate and quite unlike the Stelvio which has a lot of steel barriers on the curves, Furka has few just marker stones or in some cases just kerbs. Today was Sunday so more traffic including Cyclists and Bikers and a few fast overtakers 2 M3s and a nutter in a black Supra who very nearly took a biker out.

On to the Grimsel Pass, just after this hotel we met the entire membership of the Swiss Supercar Club, Lambos, Ferraris, GT3s, McLarens, Aston’s and at least one Koenigsegg, they were racing to get to the top, so we backed off and descended carefully.

It took us over 3 hours in the mountains continual hairpins we were glad to get to our overnight at Lucerne, the Stelvio is a pussy in comparison. The Z4 performed magnificently, passed several others during the trip, weather was almost all clear and dry, a total of nearly 3000 miles.
