The rains that bad up here it washed it all off

Woah I had to google West-Dunbartonshire as I wasnt exactly sure where it was :fuelfire: (excuse my southern ignorance) , but its one hell of a way from me on the south coast

Got to get the priorities right! Mines been tucked up all night. Off on holiday tonight so will be tucked up until its unleashed next sat fro Lakes meet! :D

I've just been seeing on the news that they have just had a band of rain of seemingly biblical proportions in the Midlands. Flash floods, the works. So, in deference to our fellow forumites based in that neck of the woods, I'm going to stop moaning about the sand marks on my car...

im in the midlands and although the rain was quite bad just a few hours ago, its all cleared up now and has hopefully washed the crap off my car

no sign of a flash flood here but then again it wouldnt be such a bad thing as the olympic torch is due through notts (where i work) in the next few hours and i would prefer they swam through the streets with it :D

Now who's wishing they had yellow cars? :D

This morning for an hour non stop rolling thunder. Never, ever heard it before. Constant thunder without a gap and the rain......... :o

were having some of the worst weather ive ever seen. 1 sec the skys clear, next its black and my street turned into a river. been torrential with lightning for the last hour. i was lucky though :D i dried my car off and wrapped it up 15 min before it struck!!! although the towel is now black from this sand and the car aint looking much cleaner

I got home, was going to get the snow foam out to get the sand off, looked out and saw big black cloud massive lightning bolt and big clap of thunder, turned around and walked back in

The heavens have opened now, No Sky TV, but the cars now sand free

Been absolute torrential rain thunder and lightning here. Drove up to Carlisle in the Z and it was dangerous couldn't see the road so many people without lights etc redic.

Aaah just got back from car wash, feel much better now, squeaky clean. Weather is pretty hot and sunny in London today. Who knows what it will decide to do though.

No sand on my car as I have a garage - however it is filthy anyway as it's not been washed for two weeks :D

Mrs Bing's car is covered though...

No rain either - 29 degrees this afternoon, finally some summer :crazydude:

That's normal weather for Whitley Bay isn't it? Or is it just like that when I'm up home

I'm joining the club... My Alpine white looks a nice shade of pebble dashed beige at thr minute. Had a torrential downpour for an hour or so this afternoon then a few hours of red hot sunshine. Dried to leave it looking awfully neglected

My 320d was covered in sand by yesterday afternoon's rain, whilst the Zed was hiding safely in my garage...Unfortunately, I didn't stay in London yesterday so my Zed spent the night outside and got covered too. Since my Westfield is somewhat besmirched from a wet track day a couple of weeks ago, I now have three filthy cars to clean :headbang:
The only consolation was driving back to London this afternoon in blazing 30 degrees sunshine :D
