I have a 2014 E89 and I am just wondering if anyone has one of these phones paired to their car? Need to know if it works ok via bluetooth for calls. Hoping the oldish technology can cope with the brand new phone! Ta
 
You’ll get calls ok, but not streaming music, unless there was an LCI update to support it that I wasn’t aware of
 
Paired my 14 year old E86 coupe to my S20 last week and works fine as a paired phone for calls.
 
Got an s20+ and a 2014 too - calls worked OK, but the car needed to be coded to stream music (I have the base audio system with iDrive, others on here have said that this model year has a "combox"

You won't get album art, but you can skip tracks, change volume etc from the steering wheel.

That's all good to know - thanks everyone. I don't need to stream music, just make and receive calls. I have a USB in the car for music which works very well. :thumbsup:
