My cars were both covered in dust on Sunday, and I couldn't figure out why. Maybe this is it? Not had a chance to clean them as I'm away on business, but cleaning the windscreen with washers was not easy - seems to be caked on.

Washed mine sunday and also covered by monday morning, away on business also till tomorrow afternoon so it's been sat on there all this time :(

Wash due friday or saturday prior to the Sussex meet, has the dust gone away yet also?

Same situation, washed it Friday, covered in dust over the weekend.

Wouldn't wash it just yet... more to come...

Both our cars are still wearing the dust proudly. Multi cultural cars.

German made, front tyres made in Taiwan and african's finest everywhere else.

I also imagine this pollution is the reason why the sun looks like it's behind a haze here. Sunday was the same. Very hazy but no cloud.

I will only buy silver cars now after a few black ones.... same dust storm can only see at close inspection.. I have only cleaned the windows. All the black cars in car park look like they been off road.

I cleaned my company car on Friday.. parked in the airport car park Saturday morning.. and came back looking like a cow had done a giant crap on it yesterday!

The guy next to me said thats the london pollution for you!

Just been out and gave the car and wheels a good layer of wax and sealant, will just run the hose over it of a morning to wash off any dust of a morning, jobs a good un.

About 25 years ago i made a decent sum of money as a kid - going round the village cleaning cars of all this sand - to be fair i think my car washing technique has improved since then - it certainly wasn't the two bucket technique

Sand is the least of my worries I've just spent last night and this morning decontaminating taking tar of the Range Rover Sport from the winter -

Tardis plus Iron X then Clayed - and there is a lot of metal on a Land Rover - now on a coffee break

Our 2 black cars look a right mess.
The Government have advised against vigorous exercise due to the poor air quality from pollution and sandstorms.
In this case I am proud to do my bit as a citizen.
In fact I may carry on for the rest of the year, you never know.......
