Take the little toolbag with the tow hook and allen Key and place it in the glovebox or somewhere in the cabin,....not in the boot (the allen key is to unlock the 7spd DCT, if you have one).
Why?
Because when you have a complete electrical failure and the car shuts down instantly it is impossible to get into the boot to get the tow hook or the allen key out. This will save you time and effort so the tow truck won't have to drive into the ditch to boost the battery, the boost also lets you get the emergency "stuff" out of the boot , such as the flashlight you need 'coz it's 8pm and quite dark in the countryside etc.etc. If you have the manual tranny, you shouldn't have an issue re the allen key .
Next: be aware that the car has no emergency flashers, lights, AND you can't take it out of gear ....nothing works. So, whatever gear you were in , it is still in it. (I was in 7th doing 120kmh. basically a dark projectile on the highway with no lights at all. at least the brakes and steering worked
) The allen key key part is to unlock the tranny to tow it up the deck onto the truck, but I believe that because it was in 7th gear it doesn't quite function as designed. I had to sit in the car and hold the allen key in unlock position while winching it onto the flatbed, because it kept returning to lock position.

Mike
