WANTED Safety information module needed (SIM85)

I won’t be doing it myself, but I’ll find someone who can handle the coding. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll go to the dealership.

A word of warning: I have been phoned this morning by a garage, asking for assistance, as they cannot do it, and when the customer took the car to the dealer they told him they would only fit new, and as there aren't any, he'd have to scrap his car.
It requires a lot of faffing about with INPA and a few other programmes, which dealers and garages no longer have.
You also run the risk of buying a SIM85, only to find it is a dud.
It's a bit of a long way to spain for me sadly, though I have been flown to Dublin to sort one this year.
 
I can install NCS, INPA, and WinKFP. Is it possible to perform the coding remotely? I'm happy to pay for the service.

I believe it is possible, provided the laptop connected to the car has the software installed.
@Street has done it I think?
 
Yeah I’ve managed it a few times. The software setup is probably the biggest challenge along with the data files.
Once sorted we can just screen share if the car is near wifi or something similar.
