Saddest film you've ever watched

Tottenham surviving the premiership always makes me cry with upset

Stark aka Gooner

Saving grace is that we will always finish up higher than you! :poke:

Watched Sole Survivor the other day - true story about a US Navy Seals op that goes completely tits-up. Not really sad until the credits when they flash up the names & ages of the real people who lost their lives, over pictures of them with their brothers-in-arms, wives, children & families
+1

As a child Dumbo!! Can never look at an elephant in the same way again!

More recently.. i watched a film called The Mist.. whilst its not exactly a tear jerker, i watched this after a very heavy weekends and already feeling pretty sorry for myself. The ending is one of the saddest ive seen. I cant tell you more you'll have to watch it.

Saw this recently on TV not the saddest of films (but at my age the emotions seem to be more unstable than my younger years) was Goodnight Mr Tom especially when the young boy who reminds me of my Nephew (makes the sadness worse ) calls John Thaw dad

With you on that Bing - Can I add Black Hawk Down - Coffins at the end coupled with Hans Zimmer score.

For some bizarre reason, Meet Joe Black makes me feel very melancholy. Think its the classical soundtrack though. As previously mentioned, its the thing that gets to me every time.

Beaches - watched it when I was a kid.
I stay away from watching sad films. There's enough in real life that makes me sad. Don't want to spend my leisure time feeling low if I can avoid it.

^^this^^ its so sad i cant even talk about it :(

Not if the season ended today though.....

Anyway, I'm off to attack our manager as that seems to help Arsenal.... 19 years of loyal service and many successes, financial stability, all forgotten. Sorry for the hijack.
