Sad intro

Hello and welcome, really sorry to see that happen.

and Woody, my eyes my eyes :poke:

Thanks for the love!!! Should be straightforward one hopes, bus driver admitted fault, can't really argue, 2 witnesses should be sorted ok but will take a while apparently as it goes thru the bus company.

Interesting point on taking it to BMW, was thinking this and haven't been through this for a while - the car is totally mint and has fbmwsh, so would be much more confident if this was the case, the rear 3/4will need replacing or reps praying.

Can they argue to take it somewhere cheaper? I guess I'm in a fairly decent position to demand otherwise...

Ask where they want to repair it and insist that it's a BMW approved body shop. You can have it repaired anywhere you want as it was their fault. You might have a fight on your hands though.

Remember you always have the right to reject the repair and have them do it again

Just be thankful it wasn't a 131 bus as they always used to come in threes  Give my regards to my childhood home(if this is Kingston on Thames, not Hull) and welcome to the forum.

:( :( :( :( :( ... hope it gets sorted.

If its just the bumper then a straightforward replacement and should be back on the road fairly quickly. As its a rear end shunt then the liability should be on the bus driver.....

Ha, telling off accepted! Yer I do agree that's sacreligous to do that to a Z8! At least it's a drawing (at least I hope it is!!)

Must be a drawing - else it can only drive in a straight line. Forgiven

I am pretty sure it is sapphire black

you can check online using your chassis number.

That's what she said... :?

:D

Benny, sorry to see what happened to the Zed, especially as you've just picked it up... ...hopefully as it's a bus company they should be insured up the ass and you'll be back on the road pronto.

Si

Cheers again, so all the paperworks cleared up, mines collected tomorrow, and the replacement dropped off. The model.....

Z4m roadster....fairly excited to try it out for a week or so!

Happy days, what an awesome replacement! If only it'd been a M Coupe and you would've reached the pinnacle of Z ownership!

Nah, he would have thought he had ended up in a 3 series then ... :poke:
