Sad day

Today, my faithful friend as portrayed in my avatar passed away, only 10 years old. I think he must have had a heart attack in the night.

Heartbroken.
 
Damn, really sorry dude, I lost mine at 13yrs just after Christmas and it took a lot of getting over.

One of lifes great tragedies that they live nowhere near as long as us, but we're blessed just to have them around.
 
Thanks guys, he was such a nice dog, complete part of the family.

Never been in a kennel, always travelled with us. Excellent traveller, you never knew he was in the car. We have been all over Europe and had great walks and excellent company.

Being a chocolate labrador, mad as a hatter of course - but that was his character. He thought he was human I think, he would join us at the dining table sitting on a chair watching us eat.

He knew if something was not right, amazing animals. I will miss him incredibly.
 
Condolences..

I have been hankering after a dog for sometime. But we will not be able to give the guy the life he deserves as our jobs mean we have an empty house apart from weekends. Would be nice to have another family member..

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. I've never had a lab, but every one I've seen has been a bit "crazy" and a complete member of the family.

my whole family are pet lovers and it is horrible to see any one of them go.

At least he had a good family around him for what i imagine was a great 10 years :thumbsup:

I'm a huge dog lover, 90% of the time I prefer them to people! More honest, more loyal and usually more intelligent!
