It was used in both the later e36 Z3M and all the Z4Ms.
As you mention '5 spoke' and '17"', I assume you're referring to this wheel from the Z3M (Style 40)...

Correct as those wheels won't clear the front brakes on the E85/86 M roadster or M coupe.srhutch said:They won't fit an ///M as the brakes are too big.

Not sure they were ever 'officially' called that.BeemerMad said:Yes s54 model. It was a z3 but never classed as a z3 m like the z4 m. It was classed as the mroadster and mcoupe.
Front wheels might fit...BeemerMad said:What about a non M?
All of my official documents from BMW and my title simply states 2007 BMW M Roadster. The e36 ones were officially the Z3 M Roadster and Z3 M Coupe, as the e85/86 models are the Z4 M Roadster and Z4 M Coupe respectively.
However, as both models are referred to as an M Roadster and M Coupe, when anyone tells me they want/have/love the M Roadster/M Coupe, I have to ask them which...the Z3 or Z4.
