S54 wheels on a e86/85

You mean Roadstars from the late Z3M ?

I dare say they would go on,but being 17" and having a deep dish they would like tiny on a Z4

S54 is an engine designation, not a car designation.

It was used in both the later e36 Z3M and all the Z4Ms.

As you mention '5 spoke' and '17"', I assume you're referring to this wheel from the Z3M (Style 40)...

Yes s54 model. It was a z3 but never classed as a z3 m like the z4 m. It was classed as the mroadster and mcoupe.

I take it nobody has done it then lol!

Not sure they were ever 'officially' called that.

The e36 ones were officially the Z3 M Roadster and Z3 M Coupe, as the e85/86 models are the Z4 M Roadster and Z4 M Coupe respectively.

However, as both models are referred to as an M Roadster and M Coupe, when anyone tells me they want/have/love the M Roadster/M Coupe, I have to ask them which...the Z3 or Z4.

What about a non M?
Front wheels might fit...
Rear wheels have a large offset difference and may not fit...

All of my official documents from BMW and my title simply states 2007 BMW M Roadster. There is no mention of Z4 anywhere...

It's a bit haphazard I guess, as both the BMW website, and the Owner's Manual show the Z4 bit...
