RX11 FRZ

Curious One for you. Following a car this morning reg RX11 FRZ. Nothing special in that you say, except it was a Peugeot 406.

Got into work and check when they stopped making them knowing it was a long time ago to find it was 2004.

DVLA vehicle check shows it as a Red Peugeot, but doesn't show the model.

I'm intrigued.

Just googled the plate so I know I wasn't seeing things. Only made till 2008 elsewhere though.

It may have been purchased whilst in production, but not registered until 2011 or there after.

If it was made in 2008 could have sat unsold for 3 years before being first registered in 2011.
Or it could be a stolen getaway car doing a bank job

You can also get a car re-registered if you've had the car rebuilt for some reason but you need to use more than 70% new parts iirc as well as new chassis and engine.........as its a 406, I highly doubt it's had that much work done to it.

Import? If imported in 2011 and registered on a uk plate then it could have an 11 plate..

Edit Just checked and it was first registered in 2011 as can be seen here:

More interestingly it looks to be a former Police car?
