Intending to keep my zed for a while, and thinking it would be a good idea to get it rust proofed.
Ideally looking for recommendations in the south west. At the moment I’m leaning towards going with South West Rust Proofing:

The only thing that’s stopped me is the use of black dinitrol… the fear is not being able to see underneath. And I’ve heard it’s a pain to get off if I ever change my mind!
But that said, the preparation seems to be key for any rust proofing, and these guys seem to do a good job on the prep, removing under trays, wheel arch covers, etc.
And dinitrol seems to on the whole have a good rep, so if that’s done properly, and the protection is appropriately checked/topped up, maybe it doesn’t matter that it’s not transparent.
Other thoughts are that I keep seeing lanoguard as a DIY solution, but I’ve never worked under the car, and don’t have any sort of jack/lift for it.
Plus, I really want the prep to be done properly… a thorough clean underneath and a decent rust converter applied before any rust proofing - would want to make sure that’s done right and not entirely trusting myself on that front!!
