Rust

My front right wing (no offence) and rear left have started to rust. No big deal as I can probably get them fixed for a few hundred ££.

I have seen though, that as my cars an 04 it should have 12 years worth of corrosion warrantee from BMW.

Has anyone used their warrantee for this/any advise?

Not full BMWSH, as an independent specialist did the last 2 services

Take it in and ask. You might get some pushback about using an indie and paintwork inspections, but I'd put money on BMW service centres never checking either

As none of my services spotted the corrosion on the rear hatch of my coupé.
