rust!

Hi all

newbie here - thinking of buying a z4 - already have a 3 and a 1 series but fancy a summer toy for next year.

do they suffer with rust? I've noticed on the 3 and the 1 (both 5/6 years old now) that there is a bit of rust coming through

if they do, where is common to look, and any recommendations as to who are the best places to sort it? I am in Surrey

All BMW since 2004 have a 12 year anti corrosion warranty so if your 3-4 year old cars have rust on them, I would get that looked at by a dealer.

Haven’t sent many zeds with rust…..some on the roof on rare occasions and they were dealt with by warranty.
