Russ' Titan Z4 updates page 3

Someone posted a link to a white roadster on ASM website that had sports seats. Jumped on it first luckily. They're so grippy. Don't think they realised the true value as the others on eBay are £750 plus

It's a shame they didn't make fabric heated sport seats, unless I'm mistaken? Leather gets too sweaty in warm weather. Would much prefer half leather heated sport seats if I could get my hands on some.

Been on Ebay about 12 months - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-E85-SPORT-BLACK-HALF-LEATHER-SEATS-DOOR-CARDS-/331807738313?fits=Car+Make%3ABMW%7CModel%3AZ4&hash=item4d414849c9:g:TJgAAOSwoydWs0fR

These including door cards would transform an interior:

Those aren't heated, unfortunately :(

Agreed. It's just a world of difference between £300 and nearly £800.

 I work shifts and sometimes I'm fortunate enough to drive home at sunrise. It's sometimes quite cold, but beautiful at that time of day, so definitely need bum warmers

Spare pair of Yfronts in the glove box. Same job, looking cool whilst doing it.

I might have to pop round an have a look at this job well done

Cheers mark. Once the first one was done it was pretty straight forward. I wish I had the skills to transplant the heating elements. Maybe a job for another day / month / year.

I'm only over in swallownest near the big Co-op. Welcome to come and compare mods (possibly expensive/ dangerous idea)

From the photos you must be on new estate in the dip ,
I know some may frown on this comment
I recall ed china doing a e46 m3 on Wheeler dealers
An also swapped interior
Original was electric an heated new interior wasn't
They only swapped the motors stating the heating elements as to fragile to take out an refit
But top job an well done a good days work

That's the place.

And that's exactly what puts me off, I don't want to ruin the seats. I may put the disassembled seats on here at some point for sale if I decide not to do it.

A busy few days. New front bumper which I'm chuffed to bits with

And also cut and shut job done on my xenons. Tried to get angel eyes in there but couldn't get them wired up. Overall, a massive change to the car

From this

To this in a week is decent going

Rear end is the next job. Facelift bumper cut for a quad exhaust with lower part done black to match the front and hopefully sort the final facelift light out this week and get coded at the weekend.

Interested in the rear cut shut Russ

Apologies for the naff pictures. The lighting is terrible.

The guy painted both bumpers (one was red the other scratched and grey) and made the rear symmetrical including adding the 3d type bit to the second hole all for £250.

Love it! Need to get my M bumper resprayed and I love the look of the horizontal bar painted black.

Cheers Ben. Think it really suits the silver. Probably wouldn't notice it so much on a black one :tumbleweed:

Russ I've got the software installed on a laptop now if you want to borrow it for coding

That would be amazing. Do you know what you're doing with it? Is it straight forward?

Not got a clue
Iirc there's a forum for it but not had chance to plug it in my car yet
I believe sss is just tick boxes for selectable options
But I think for your rear light swap we need to change the voltage for the lights
