Running wire down passenger side a pillar

Been fiddling with this for a while. I need to run some wire down the passenger side a pillar but I absolutely cannot seem to get it run through without hitting metal or carpet. Maybe my hands are too fat or I can’t contort my body enough so thought I’d try the reverse. Figured using a dowel from the top and through to attach the wire and pull up would work but nope. At a loss is anyone has some helpful hints I’d be very appreciative.

Just remove it. Top windscreen trim unscrews, then the sides pull up and slide out. There will be wiring already clipped in that you can secure to.

Yeah I’ve been trying to run the cable with / next to the original wiring loom there down the a pillar. I believe I’ve saved me self a bit of heartache by routing up the lock panel and closer to the door sill and then taping round the wire loom. Fingers crossed the wiring bit is easier

Not quite understanding the last post (Saturday evening drinks? ) but yes, remove the A pillar plastic as the is so easy to do. I ran the microphone cable down there

haha yeah I'll need to edit, hard to type on the phone with busted fingers.

My plan was to remove the A Pillar and then run the HK4 hardwire kit for my dash cam with or alongside the original loom down to the fuse box. However there was no way to really accomplish that or I'm just bad at running wire because I kept running into something metal when trying to fish the cable down.

Instead I found a gap between the kick panel and glovebox, snuck the wire in there, removed the door weatherstripping and ran the wire up on that side and tucked. Then I was able to attach it to the original loom and run up across the windshield similar to what I wanted to originally do.
