running massive camber EDIT M6 wheels fitment ?

So I've been considering wheels for some time now and while i agree the csl's do look dam good, they are almost standard fitment now and d lie to be a bit different.

During my searches I came across a picture of a coupe running E9? M3 wheels. Using the offset calculator the 19x8.5x29mm front will give a 5mm less inside and 7mm more outside. Whereas the 19x9.5x23mm rear gives a 13mm more inside and a 25mm more outside.

All very good but will they fit?

The same search suggests a -2.5 camber up front, really? what's the affect of running that much camber on a street ride?

DD

I run -2.9 on my car. I don't do it to tuck in incorrect offset wheels however, I do it to stop the extreme shoulder wear I experience during hard use, front tyre wear is completely equal as the extreme shoulder wear is countered but the inner , middle wear during normal driving. If this was a DD I'd definitely not run this camber as the car follows all the ruts and bumps.....

But in answer to your question those wheels will easily fit with some extreme camber... I actually have a set.

An that's not the answer I was hoping for, but it is an answer that stops me spending a wedge of free on something that makes it worse.

Got any pics :poke:

Ok, so my next question is M6 wheels.

9.5 x19 EH2 (so the chap selling tells me) but is the "EH2" really the offset, that seems waaayyyy to small?

Edit:

Ignore me, they are 12 front 14 rear so my plans are ruined. Dame and those are the ones I wanted above all others.

Aye, there are a few five spoke type wheels about but I really love the deep dish on the rears. Makes the car look wiiide. But if its a no go, then I'll just have to accept it.
