I was at my local tyre dealer yesterday when the owner of a local car dealership came in with a 645i with a flat front tyre
He had driven over some glass and gashed the shoulder of the tyre , a Bridgestone runflat RE050
He was pleading with the manager of the tyre place to somehow patch or repair the tyre just to get it through a roadtest to avoid him having to fit a new one and saving him £300
This man was willing to sell some unsuspecting buyer a car with a tyre that could only be described as dangerous , especially on a high performance car, and all for the sake of a bit of profit
I don't know the outcome as I left while they were talking but I hope the tyre dealer had the sense to refuse
