Sorry if this is a numpty question, but how does the runflat monitoring system work? And, if I fit a set of wheels with standard tyres, do I need to do anything to disable the system?
On UK cars it works from the ABS sensors and the rotational difference between the wheels from when the system is reset. So any wheel can be used as there are no sensors in the wheel.
