Runflat indicator ever operated?

Dav the wheel nut

I was out today and the runfat indicator light on the dash came on and the warning signal sounded. I limped home on the runflats fearing the worst but on checking the pressures they were all ok.
I reset the system and took the car out again and it hasn't happened since.
Anyone experienced a similar occurence or any suggestions why it would activate?
It was hot and the pressures were 37 all round which I put down to the heat. :?

What were the cold pressures?

Mine has only gone off when I had a puncture (1 week after getting new rear RFTs) - so had to be replaced.

I take it you never hit any large potholes/ speedbumps when it happened? When I bought my car, the dealer warned me that doing so can sometimes set off the runflat system.

I don't think so but that is worth knowing. Thanks

Happened on mine a few times. Aside those time on a wet road, ice self induced it has happened a coupel of times for no reason. Pressure all spot on.

As an aside 37 psi hot. What are you running them at cold??
