Well worth taking your running shoes and jogging round one day if you're into running Mark, it's a nice trot out.

Nice to see you out and about Mark, it seems to have rained all year so far in our neck of the woods (at weekends anyway :( ) - can't wait for spring and lots of top down driving.

Out of Sheffield up to owler bar, across to fox house, down to hathersage an hope valley, an up through bamford to the reservoir's

Originally come from Doncaster and always fancy driving around these route whenever they're posted up - we'll get down there some time soon.

Yep the fun of Snake Pass all gone, travelled that for the very first time last year (albeit with four family members on board ). Heaven forbid they do anything similar up here . . .

I think you can still have fun on the snake, coming back toward Sheffield once past the snake inn if you ignore the straight-ish bits where any body can put their foot down there are enough twisty tight bits.
You must stay in your lane no crossing white line no braking now try to keep to 50/55 ( there's always a bit of leeway  ). It's still fun try it
Same going over to glossop once over the summit try keeping to 50 on your side off road no braking might be more fun in a manual.

I know all about defensive parking in a Z4, but in my experience you were still lucky not to get a battered to death 30 year old Defender covered in sh*t a fag-paper away from your door!
