...and just to explain, rims that are made for runflats have an additional secondary bead just inside the outer one....it helps to trap the tyre if it deflates.
Such rims happily take non-runflats; the secondary bead simply becomes superfluous.....but of course you can't (or certainly shouldn't!) fit runflats to rims that are not designed for them, since they don't have this additional bead.
